Margaret Coull Trophy

Congratulations to Richard Bowden on winning the inaugural Margaret Coull Trophy with his picture “High Tea”.

The competition was judged by Richard Cormack EFIAP DPAGB who himself is an accomplished photographer, holder of several awards for his photography and former Scottish Photographic Federation judge. As a long standing friend of Margaret Coull he felt the winning picture summed up the theme – Nature In The Garden – perfectly.

Alison Coull, Margaret’s daughter, was a special guest on the evening of the competition and commented that her mum would have been delighted with the number and standard of entries.

Second place was awarded to Alison Smith for “Galanthus” and third place went to Alaistair Ramsay for his picture “Hoverflies Icelandic Poppy”.
