3 Way Competition – 9th February 2022
The Society meeting on 9th February took the form of participation in the annual Three Way
Photographic battle between Cupar Camera Club, Kinross Camera Club and St Andrews Photographic Society.
This well attended event was held on Zoom with the forty five images selected and submitted by
the three clubs were judged by Terry Hewitt from Stockport.
The judge commented on the high quality of the images submitted and gave detailed and
constructive comments on each image together with suggestions which in his opinion may
improve each of the images submitted.
The competition was closely fought by the three clubs with only nine points separating the clubs
at the end of the competition. Kinross Camera Club provided the highest scoring images and
came out first overall with 257 points closely followed by Cupar and St Andrews who tied on 248
points. Highest scoring images for the evening were ‘Anemone through a raindrop’ by a member of Kinross Camera Club and ‘Winter Wonderland’ by `Richard Bowdon of St. Andrews both achieving a maximum 20 points for their work
