Members of St Andrews Photographic Society handed over cheques for £452.50 each to Crossroads Fife Central, and Alzheimers Research UK. The Society members raise the money through cake sales and raffles, organised by Emily Noakes and assisted by Helen Willis and Caroline MacDonald, on Society nights throughout the season.
A record £905 was raised this year.
Chris Wallard, a member of St Andrews Photographic Society, accepted the cheque on behalf of Alzheimers Research UK. Chris recently completed a 9 day charity cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats for the charity. He thanked the members of Society for their generous donation.
Laurie O’Brian accepted the cheque on behalf of Crossroads Fife Central and also gave her thanks to the members of the Society for their donation.
