This week was our 3rd internal competition which was judged by Shahbaz Majeed a member of the Dundee Photographic Society. Shahbaz is a well published photographer taking some of his shots from a helicopter, he does not use drones. One of his images of the Forth Railway Bridge features on the Clydesdale Bank polymer £5 note. Specialising in landscape photography he gave the audience some good advice on how they might make some of their images more commercial as part of his enlightening critiques.
The results were as follows. Projected Images, in 3rd place John Drummond with “Reflections”, In 2nd place Philip Graham with “Autumn Shades”, and in 1st place Mathew Schwartz with “Milan”.
This was followed by Mono Prints, in 3rd place Mathew Schwartz with “The Tay Bridge”, in 2nd place Stan Farrow with “Ships Time” and in 1st place Frank Riddell with “Ancestors of Rome”.
